Redditch Hockey Club are really passionate about getting more young people involved in playing hockey. We are very much in our growth stage and are developing not only in numbers but in strength and support year on year.

Opportunities for all

Whether you’re new to the sport, love playing at school, or dream of becoming the next international superstar. We have lots of opportunities and development paths for you to come along and enjoy playing hockey in a friendly, safe environment. We have a number of our Junior players involved in England Hockey’s Player Pathway at County and Regional level.

Training Sessions

Our sessions are led by Becki Clarke (Head Junior Coach). Becki is assisted by a dedicated group of senior coaches, current U18 and senior play ers and parent volunteers. The support they provide is invaluable in helping our juniors develop and have lots of fun along the way. All of our senior coaches are fully qualified, DBS checked and have undergone additional Safeguarding and First Aid training. Our sessions are open to boys and girls aged 5-16 and are coached in dedicated age groups – U8, U10, U12, U14 and Badgers (U16).

Club kit is provided by KitLocker via our club shop. (link) It is not mandatory for you to purchase any kit from the shop but a lot our Juniors choose a hoody or training top. If you do represent the club in games you will need a pair of red socks, white socks and navy shorts or skort. We will provide you with club playing shirts for games.
