Our vision, ethos and objectives set out who we are as a club and how we grow hockey for everyone in Redditch and beyond.
Redditch Hockey Club is an open, inclusive and friendly club. We provide opportunities for everyone to enjoy and progress in hockey, whatever their age, gender or ability.

Vision and Ethos
Vision:
To be a welcoming community club where people of all backgrounds can play, learn and love hockey — from first stick to performance — in a safe, supportive and enjoyable environment.
Ethos:
- Our aim is to offer playing opportunities for all across Redditch and the wider area, with structured coaching for juniors, seniors and umpires.
- Everyone should be able to compete at the level that challenges them, while keeping enjoyment, respect and player welfare at the centre of everything we do.
- We’re proudly social — hockey is our sport, community is our culture.
Objectives
Encourage, promote and develop hockey across Redditch and surrounding communities, being inclusive and welcoming in all we do.
Provide high-quality, structured hockey and coaching for all abilities, ages and genders without prejudice.
Lead the way in junior development, nurturing talent to reach full potential and to feed into senior hockey.
Provide a vibrant social hub for members, families and supporters.
Work in partnership with local schools, community groups and sporting organisations.
Ensure a continuing duty of care for all members and uphold best practice in safeguarding and welfare.
