It was another fantastic weekend of junior hockey for Redditch HC, with both our Under 12s and Under 14s teams in action — and what a display of teamwork, effort, and energy it was!
Our U12s were a joy to watch. With a very young squad — including five of our U10s — they played some brilliant hockey throughout the day. The team went undefeated, keeping clean sheets in every game but one, where they were narrowly beaten 1–0 by Stourport right at the end. What really stood out was their link-up play and teamwork in attack — some fantastic passing moves led to beautifully worked goals that showed just how much they’ve taken on board from training and development evenings.
Our U14s also impressed, facing tough opposition in their round-robin matches but improving with every game. The team’s confidence grew as the day went on, with some great passages of play and real determination across the pitch.
And, in true Redditch spirit, several of our U10s and U12s even stepped up to help out the U14s, showing brilliant attitude and commitment to support their teammates — a real example of the togetherness that runs through the club.
