Redditch Mens Firsts crushed bottom side Ludlow 13-1, to remain top of the Bodykraft MRHA West Midlands Division 1 despite missing several members of the team.
Competitive debuts were handed to Dan Jakeman, Dave Pilkington and goalkeeper Adrian Young, while Pete Dawson returned to first team action for the first time since last season.
The Kingfishers took an instant lead within seconds of the start, captain Andy Brooks launching an aerial ball that evaded a home defender, with Richard Sellors capitalising on the error to fire home.
That set the tone for the rest of the game against a young and inexperienced Ludlow side, and Redditch were devastating in front of goal.
Brooks, Dawson and Dave Smith all grabbed hat-tricks, Sellors scored again, Steve Cook added his name to the score sheet, and Pilkington celebrated his debut with a goal as well.
Redditch now face Wednesbury at home on Saturday knowing full well they now have enough strength in depth to be confident of victory even if they are missing first team regulars.
